The Prosthetic Supply Chain Coordinator facilitates inventory management within Surgical Services including supplies, equipment, and implants to support patient care. This role independently manages prostheses, inventory and equipment to provide an efficient, accurate and complete supply chain service to the hospital as directed by the Procurement and Logistics Manager.

This position will ensure rebate codes and consumable data is accurate on the Patient administration system. The role also covers the backfill of theatre reception for ADOs/ Sick leave and Annual leave.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in accounting/purchasing/stores/nursing would provide an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of procurement ordering systems.
  • Knowledge of prosthesis and the companies involved in their supply and manufacture.
  • Computer literacy-essential.
  • Understanding of inventory follow-up functions.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Self directed and motivated with the ability to plan, prioritise and work to deadlines.
  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain.
