About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator to join our team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. This is a full-time role with excellent benefits, including salary packaging and a focus on wellbeing initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating inventory management within Surgical Services, including supplies, equipment, and implants. You will independently manage prostheses, inventory, and equipment to provide an efficient, accurate, and complete supply chain service to the hospital as directed by the Procurement and Logistics Manager.

As part of your duties, you will also be required to backfill theatre reception for ADOs/Sick leave and Annual leave.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate inventory management within Surgical Services
  • Independently manage prostheses, inventory, and equipment
  • Provide an efficient, accurate, and complete supply chain service to the hospital
  • Backfill theatre reception for ADOs/Sick leave and Annual leave
Requirements
  • Experience in accounting/purchasing/stores/nursing would provide an advantage
  • Working knowledge of procurement ordering systems
  • Knowledge of prosthesis and the companies involved in their supply and manufacture
  • Computer literacy-essential
  • Understanding of inventory follow-up functions
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-directed and motivated with the ability to plan, prioritise, and work to deadlines
  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $66,768-$72,134 per annum, depending on experience.
