As a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing a vibrant and varied social activities program tailored to the interests, hobbies, and spiritual and cultural needs of our residents.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Enable residents to maintain their autonomy and well-being by providing support and resources to enhance their lifestyle.
  • Collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator to design and deliver engaging lifestyle programs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal and external activities catering to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, team members, volunteers, and local community groups.
  • Develop and maintain accurate care plans for individual residents, reflecting their unique needs and requirements.
  • Cultivate partnerships with community organisations to access support programs and services that benefit our residents.
You Will Bring:
  • Aged Care experience with a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older Australians.
  • A deep understanding of resident-centred care principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support and Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications.
  • Solid knowledge of Aged Care Standards and Regulations.
  • Ability to utilise technology and electronic medical records efficiently.
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clearance and right to work in Australia.
