Activity Coordinator

We are seeking an Activity Coordinator to join our team across Victoria, providing high-quality activity programs for clients who are eligible under various funding streams.

The successful candidate will contribute positively as a member of the Social Support Program team to assist in the provision of therapeutic activities promoting, maintaining, and improving participants' social, psychological, and physical well-being.

  • Delivers therapeutic activities to enhance the quality of life of frail-aged people, people with disabilities, and their carers.
  • Empowers clients to participate in decision-making and activity planning, fostering independence and autonomy.
  • Collaborates with the team to develop and implement engaging activity programs, ensuring client needs are met and exceeded.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care, Community, Disability, Leisure and Lifestyle, Diversional Therapy, Nursing, or Allied Health Assistant qualifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering therapeutic activities and supporting individuals with diverse needs.
