Civil Account Development Specialist VIC

As a key player in Aptella's civil construction division, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value accounts, driving revenue growth and delivering sales targets. Your primary objective will be to build strong relationships with key customers, promote our solutions and ensure that Aptella remains a trusted partner in the industry.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced account manager to join our team in Victoria. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business plans, identify new sales opportunities and provide exceptional customer service.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts, focusing on promotion, training and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support key account initiatives and drive revenue growth.
- Set revenue goals and action plans aligned with the company's Mid Term Growth Plan.
- Demonstrate product lines to key accounts, coordinate training days and drive tech day priorities with head offices.
- Build strong relationships with head offices and customers, contributing to annual sales targets and achieving or exceeding planned gross profit.
- Provide excellent customer service with timely technical and commercial advice.
- Monitor market changes, customer feedback and competitor activities.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, team-oriented with a positive, outgoing personality.
- Ability to build and manage relationships while displaying a high degree of professionalism.
- Understanding of survey practices, proficiency in various enterprise systems and a problem-solving mindset.
- Capable of working independently, sometimes remotely, with minimal support, and always looking for ways to improve.
- Strong new business sales experience, a strong focus on customer needs and knowledge of surveying within a civil construction environment.
