Civil Account Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled Civil Account Manager to join our team at Position Partners.
This is a key position responsible for effectively managing selected key accounts, sourcing new business through key buying groups, and driving revenue growth to achieve sales, financial, and operational objectives within our civil network.
Key Responsibilities- Account Development: Develop and manage nominated key accounts, focusing on promotion, training, pricing, tech days, and business planning.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with our marketing team to support key account initiatives and drive revenue growth.
- Revenue Growth: Set revenue goals and action plans in line with our Mid Term Growth Plan.
- Product Demonstration: Demonstrate product lines to key accounts, coordinate training days, and drive tech day priorities with head offices.
- Customer Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with head offices and customers, contributing to annual sales targets and achieving or exceeding planned gross profit.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service with timely technical and commercial advice.
- Market Monitoring: Monitor market changes, customer feedback, and competitor activities.
- Budgeting and Reporting: Support the Civil Sales Manager VIC/TAS in developing annual revenue business plans for assigned key accounts, contribute to monthly management reports on key account developments and revenue forecasts, and maintain customer records and complete reports on CRM.
- Training and Development: Participate in and complete training programs.
- Communication and Organisation: Excellent communication and organisational skills, team-oriented with a positive, outgoing personality.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build and manage relationships while displaying a high degree of professionalism.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of survey practices, proficiency in various enterprise systems, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Independence and Initiative: Capable of working independently, sometimes remotely, with minimal support, and always looking for ways to improve.
- New Business Sales Experience: Strong new business sales experience, a strong focus on customer needs, and knowledge of surveying within a civil construction environment.
- Sales Management and Negotiation: Solid sales management and negotiation skills, technical product aptitude, and an understanding of the application and benefits of the products.
- Commitment to Learning: A growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and development, and experience encouraging teams to do the same.
