Job Description:

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient maintenance of our clients' fleet of specialist mining equipment. This role involves working on-site and in the workshop, performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs.

You will work closely with customers to enhance their operational productivity and success, contributing to the expansion of our customer network and the development of our support division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Carry out general mechanical duties, maintenance, repairs and fault diagnostics work on all mining equipment.
  • Performing mechanical maintenance duties as per maintenance plans while upholding the integrity of the equipment and ensuring safe operation is not compromised.
  • Providing feedback for efficient maintenance planning improvements.
  • Record keeping of parts usage, equipment monitoring and time records
  • Support technicians from other regions and assist in training
  • Work effectively either in a team environment or autonomously
  • Assist with machine audits/inspections
Your Profile:
  • Australian recognized Mechanical Trade Certification is required.
  • Demonstrated previous experience with underground mining equipment would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong and proven safety culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service focus and motivation and determination to achieve targets and goals.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Class C Manual Driver's License is required.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing.
