Role: Field Service Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to ensure the efficient maintenance of our clients' fleet of Sandvik mining equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on specialist mining equipment within the Sandvik product range
  • Carry out general mechanical duties, maintenance, repairs and fault diagnostics work on all Sandvik Mining equipment
  • Provide feedback for maintenance planning improvements and record keeping of parts usage, equipment monitoring and time records
  • Support technicians from other regions and assist in training
Key Requirements:
  • Australian recognized Mechanical Trade Certification is mandatory
  • Demonstrated previous experience with Sandvik Underground mining equipment would be highly advantageous
  • Strong safety culture, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong customer service focus and motivation to achieve targets and goals
  • Basic computer literacy, ability to work unsupervised, Class C Manual Driver's License is required, ability to pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing
