Seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance of our fleet of Sandvik Mining equipment.
">Key Responsibilities:- Carry out general mechanical duties, maintenance, repairs and fault diagnostics work on all Sandvik Mining equipment.
- Performing mechanical maintenance duties as per maintenance plans while upholding the integrity of the equipment and ensuring safe operation is not compromised.
- Providing feedback for efficient maintenance planning improvements.
- Record keeping of parts usage, equipment monitoring and time records
- Support technicians from other regions and assist in training
- Work effectively either in a team environment or autonomously
- Assist with machine audits/inspections
- Australian recognized Mechanical Trade Certification is required.
- Demonstrated previous experience with Sandvik Underground mining equipment would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong and proven safety culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service focus and motivation and determination to achieve targets and goals.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Class C Manual Driver's License is required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing.
