Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team based in Mount Isa. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance of our client's fleet of Sandvik Mining equipment.

You will work on-site and in the workshop, performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs of specialist mining equipment within the Sandvik product range.

The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical trade background and experience working with Sandvik Underground mining equipment is highly regarded.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment and contribute to the success of our clients' operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
  • Carry out repairs and fault diagnostics as required.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Australian recognized Mechanical Trade Certification.
  • Previous experience with Sandvik Underground mining equipment is highly regarded.
  • Strong safety culture and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and prioritize tasks effectively.
