A senior accountant is required to work closely with the finance team, supporting daily accounting operations and preparing financial reports.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and audit processes, excellent organisational and time management skills, as well as confident communication skills.
The role involves managing scheme cash flow reports, delegating and reviewing junior colleague's work, preparing for year-end audits, liaising with auditors, and producing monthly P&L reports and quarterly VAT returns.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review pension scheme reports and accounts.

- Support the production and presentation of financial information for senior executives and partners.

- Supervise and mentor junior members of the finance team.
The ideal candidate is a newly qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent, with a strong grounding in financial accounting.
Desirable Skills- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and audit processes.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to supervise, support, and motivate junior colleagues.
