We are seeking an experienced and skilled senior financial professional to lead our accounting and budgeting functions in Rutherford, NSW.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Manage the company's accounts payable and receivable processes effectively.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and monitor performance metrics.
- Provide expert financial advice and support to management on strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with CPA or CA qualification.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar senior accounting or financial control role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using Xero accounting software, with strong / advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft products.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
