This senior leadership role manages a multi-discipline team of engineers at our Bunbury Pigment Processing Plant.
The Asset Improvement Lead will be responsible for:
- Initiating business improvement projects and leading concept studies to support the Capital Project Management Team
- Delivering Operational Readiness for Capital Projects
- Developing policies and procedures for life cycle management of site assets
- Creating 3-5 year Life of Asset plans to maintain asset integrity and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborating with Maintenance and Reliability to optimize equipment performance and cost
- Investigating complex equipment failures and providing solutions to prevent recurrence
- Driving team performance to deliver tangible outcomes to the business
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
- Strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a multidisciplinary team
- Asset Integrity knowledge in various equipment types
- Understanding of Reliability Principles in a chemical processing or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of regulatory codes and standards for Pressure and Electrical Equipment
- Experience with Capital Project processes and business case development
- 10+ years' experience in a related industry
