About the Role

The Disability Inclusion Officer works closely with students, staff, and external support services to ensure equitable access to learning. This includes advising on best inclusive practices, facilitating reasonable adjustments, and negotiating alternative assessments.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote best practices in inclusion and accessibility.
  • Facilitate reasonable adjustments and alternative assessments to support student success.
  • Engage with students regularly through face-to-face meetings, phone, or video consultations to ensure ongoing support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including students, staff, and external support networks.
  • Liaise with external service providers to enhance student outcomes.
  • Deliver presentations at information sessions, promoting inclusive practices and available support services.
