Leadership Role: Merchandise Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will possess strategic leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of Associates. This position involves overseeing operational tasks, hiring and training Supervisors and Merchandise Assistants, and implementing effective training schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for growth and support coaching and development of leadership skills
  • Monitor and analyze work streams and operational activities to ensure optimal effectiveness and efficiency
  • Anticipate shifts in business needs and adapt operations accordingly
  • Develop strong partnerships with merchants and leverage resources to maximize capacity

Key Qualifications:

  • Tertiary education and/or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years Management experience, leading teams in an Operations or Customer Service environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Merchandise or Buying Operations functions
  • Excellent Communication skills and ability to partner effectively with stakeholders
