Reception/Events Coordinator

At GOW Recruitment, we're seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Reception/Events Coordinator. As the first point of contact for our members and visitors, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Welcoming: Greet and welcome members and visitors with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Front Desk Management: Manage the front desk, including answering calls, responding to inquiries, and handling mail and deliveries.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate and promote a variety of events, from networking sessions and workshops to social gatherings, ensuring seamless execution and logistics.
  • Meeting Room Bookings: Manage meeting room bookings and ensure spaces are prepared for use, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support and assist with day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of our community.
  • Community Engagement: Foster a positive and engaging community atmosphere, encouraging collaboration and connection among our members.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Event Experience: Previous experience in a reception, hospitality, or event coordination role is preferred, but not essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Positive Attitude: Possess a proactive and positive attitude, with a passion for creating exceptional experiences and delivering outstanding service.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working occasional evenings or weekends for events.
