As a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education, Alfred Health seeks a highly skilled Allied Health Clinician Research Fellow to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative research projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong research background and expertise in their discipline.
About the Role
- The Allied Health Clinician Research Fellowship is designed to support emerging allied health leaders in research, focusing on evidence-based allied health interventions to keep people out of hospital.
- The successful candidate will be involved in the Evaluating Allied Health-led BED Substitution models of care – Which treatments, when and for whom – cAring for Patients at home (AH BED SWAP) program.
- This fellowship will provide a recent PhD graduate with the opportunity to boost their research career and enhance their ability to attract and secure future funding.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement research projects, including data collection and management, and writing for publication.
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and submissions to external funding bodies.
- Collaborate with staff from diverse backgrounds to promote an integrated approach to clinical research and service delivery.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of research-practice developments and their impact on clinical care outcomes.
