Hotel Reservation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Reservation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing reservations, ensuring accurate documentation, and communicating guest preferences to relevant departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Process reservations according to hotel policy.
  • Ensure correct documentation for all payment details.
  • Communicate guest preferences efficiently to relevant departments.
  • Assist the Front Office Manager in achieving benchmark Data Quality scores.
  • Manage group billing issues and resolve account disputes.
  • Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in occupancy and rates.
  • Ensure arrivals list displays correct rate and market codes.
  • Deliver product and service to meet customer quality standards.
  • Manage VIP bookings and process cancellations according to hotel policy.
  • Produce reports and statistics as requested.

Requirements:

  • Passion for client engagement and finding solutions.
  • Strong sales approach and driving business generation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge and experience of OPERA systems would be advantageous.
