About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Stamford Plaza Adelaide. As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless operations in our front office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage front office operations to deliver exceptional guest interactions and service excellence
  • Implement and drive successful service strategies that align with department KPIs and goals
  • Manage effective rostering to align with wage budgets and staff competencies
  • Embed and improve a guest-first culture and support and coach team members to constantly uplift their capability and accountabilities
  • Control and manage daily hotel inventory, room availability, and upselling initiatives
  • Ensure operational data, guest stays, and entitlements are accurate and correctly actioned in systems
  • Administration and reporting, including delivering key information to relevant departments regarding special events and group movements
  • Manage escalations and complaints effectively, ensuring customer experience is not jeopardised
  • Manage concierge duties and emergency situations
About You
  • A qualification in Hospitality Management is desirable
  • Current RSA, First Aid Certification, and a current driver's license are required
  • Experience as a Fire Warden and First Aid Officer is desirable
  • Experience with hotel booking systems, preferably Opera, is desirable
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate employees to deliver a high standard of service are required
  • Commitment to flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays is essential
