About the RoleThis Senior Digital Trade Manager position is responsible for leading on trading activities to ensure the company achieves its targets for revenue, profit, traffic, and efficiency in its digital business.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver channel plan phasing, forecasting required channel traffic, spend, and conversion performance with paid media and wider trading teams to achieve commercial sales targets while maintaining efficiencies
- Manage the digital trading calendar for the market and communicate with trading teams and other stakeholders to ensure all activity is prepared and aligned
- Analyse product performance and plan actions to maximise performing lines and support underperforming products
- Guide social, CRM, and content streams in planning marketing messaging on both paid and organic channels to drive efficient full-funnel coverage
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment on key activities
- Refine and optimise merchandising activity by analysing traffic and sales data to improve overall effectiveness across categories
- Minimum of 5 years' ecommerce experience (retail experience preferable)
- Hands-on platform experience (e.g., Shopify, Bloomreach, Magento)
- Experience managing sales budgets and forecasting processes
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work within planning frameworks
- Experience working within commercial trading functions
- Sound understanding of other areas of an e-commerce business, including merchandising, content, performance marketing, social media, CRM, and customer logistics
- Leadership and training capabilities to develop and upskill other team members
- Commercial brand awareness and understanding of the Australian fashion retail landscape
- Tertiary education is highly recommended
