We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Growth Specialist to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with our Underwriting teams to build and maintain strong relationships with brokers across the region. This will involve identifying, nurturing, and developing new business opportunities, as well as supporting the retention of existing business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining regular contact with brokers to identify, develop, and nurture new business opportunities
  • Conducting regular interstate travel to meet with brokers, attend industry events, and conferences
  • Liaising with the Distribution & Engagement Lead to engage with national broker networks
  • Collaborating with the Underwriting teams to ensure a strong presence and visibility in the region
  • Providing proactive support for the resolution of broker issues and gathering market information and broker feedback into the broader business

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building, managing, and influencing broker relationships, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in developing business relationships in a commercial insurance environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A Diploma in General Insurance (advantageous)
