Learning and Development Position

Primero is seeking a skilled individual to join their team as a Learning and Development Advisor. This role will involve developing, coordinating, and leading learning and development initiatives and programs, as well as advising and partnering with key stakeholders to contribute to the overall learning and development strategy.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Leading and coordinating Primero's Graduate Program and Apprentice Program.
  • Identifying training needs within the business for white-collar roles and implementing relevant training programs.
  • Maintaining the central learning hub by managing the learning calendar and events, updating learning news, and updating learning resources as required.
  • Coordinating Primero's Development Programs, including the Leadership Program and Supervisor Foundation Program.
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new employees by creating engaging e-learning modules, onboarding material, and guides.
  • Managing and coordinating corporate training needs through business-led Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and development requests.
  • Participating in career days and industry events as required.

Key qualifications for this position include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Learning and Development or Human Resources.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Learning and Development role within an engineering or construction company.
  • Previous experience managing Learning and Development programs and initiatives.
  • Strong relationships and communication skills across all levels, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft skills and computer literacy.
  • A passion for Learning and Development.
  • A curious mindset with a proactive approach to seek knowledge and problem-solve.
  • Team-focused approach contributing to a continuous improvement culture.
