Job Opportunity: Marketing and Communications Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Officer to join our team.

  1. This role will provide administrative and operational support and advice on a diverse range of matters.
  2. Responsibilities include developing and/or administering processes and procedures, responding to enquiries, and monitoring service delivery to identify efficiencies and ensure compliance with legislation, directives, policies, and standards.
  3. Facilitating work to meet deadlines and commitments, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery is also essential.
  4. Supervising and training support staff as required, ensuring high standards of administrative support.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced marketing professional to join our team. As Marketing and Communications Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the College's external presence and internal communications through a range of short-term initiatives.

  • Key responsibilities include managing social media accounts, BCE Connect communications, and the College calendar, ensuring clear, timely, and engaging messaging across platforms.
  • You will also provide valuable support for event management, marketing activities, and promotional campaigns.
  • Additional responsibilities include managing publication advertising, developing signage, and contributing to initiatives that enhance the College's visibility and reputation.
Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience, including:

  • Providing a wide variety of administrative and operational support.
  • Coordinating tasks to meet deadlines and commitments, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Advising on administrative tasks and processes, driving process improvements.
  • Understanding of compliance within a school and delivering on relevant legislation, policy, and procedures.
  • Led and supported administrative staff, ensuring their smooth onboarding and providing effective training for optimal performance.
