Disability Support Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker in our Accommodation Services.

As a key member of our team, you will provide essential assistance to our high-needs clients, aiding with personal care and daily tasks. You will support clients who use wheelchairs and have additional medical needs, ensuring they receive the necessary care.

Our team promotes autonomy and supports residents around the clock, fostering independence within a shared living environment. Your role will involve handling complex situations with empathy and composure, making a meaningful impact on others.

  • Engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, building positive relationships and supporting their unique needs.
  • Be resilient and self-assured, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prioritize tasks and demonstrate problem-solving abilities to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Be flexible, available for shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Holder of a valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Able to pass a National Criminal History Check.
  • Experience working with high-needs Disability clients.
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent (desirable).
