The opportunity

Due to the exciting growth within Managed Fund Claims, we have a new Provider Services Manager opportunity. We are looking for this person to be a trusted commercial business partner enabling QBE to achieve and sustain the most value, quality, and performance through managing third party service providers. Significant focus will be on developing relationships, set up, monitoring and evaluation of the providers whilst collaborating across internal teams.

Your responsibilities include:

- Managing the performance of Third Party Service Providers - including monitoring, evaluating and managing the services and outcomes delivered by a Third Party Service Provider
- Analyse spend data and work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify requirements and opportunities for further cost savings and business/supply chain optimisation
- Facilitate forums with Third Party Service Providers and QBE to discuss performance and collaborate on industry challenges.
- Implementation of best practice Supplier relationship and performance management to ensure required service levels are met and new innovations are being sought.
- Prepare informative reports (compliance and performance) to keep the business informed about the Third Party Service Provider performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Regulators, service providers and Employers.

Your story so far

You will have extensive knowledge of procurement and category management best practice; including procurement strategies, sourcing, negotiation, contract management, supplier management, cost control and business case development and presentation. Ability to strategically partner with stakeholders; articulate information concisely and identify key insights to resolve issues/develop solutions

Other key attributes that will see you succeed in this role:

- Experience in management of a panel of Third Party Service Providers
- Ability to develop and deliver strategic vision.
- Experience working within the workers compensation or personal injury claims environment, with strong commercial acumen and ability to assess commercial drivers and key information for decision making
- Experience in the interrogation of data to establish spend baseline
- Good experience working on contract management, managing external suppliers and service level measurement and review.
