Are you looking for a career in occupational rehabilitation where you can make a meaningful difference in people's lives? We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team and provide remote support to clients with physical and/or psychological injuries/illnesses.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in a counselling and case management framework, assisting clients to achieve a successful and sustainable return to work. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Case management, ensuring that clients receive tailored support and services to meet their needs
- Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes through the development of injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to identify suitable employment opportunities
You will have the support of our experienced team and access to ongoing training and professional development to ensure your success in this role.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Allied Health Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy or Osteopathy
- Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or Full Professional Accreditation with ESSA
- Experience in workplace rehabilitation, preferably in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and build relationships with all stakeholders
