Career Opportunity: Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team and support Defence members throughout their rehabilitation journey. This rewarding role involves conducting workplace assessments, exploring field environments, and working within a multidisciplinary team to facilitate the transition from rehab to healing.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical reasoning skills and expertise in occupational rehabilitation. They will utilise this knowledge to develop, implement, and monitor effective rehabilitation plans, ensuring seamless access to medical and treatment providers on site. Located at one of Australia's most well-known Army Bases, Puckapunyal, this role offers early starts and finishes with set working hours Monday to Friday.
To succeed in this role, you will require prior experience in occupational rehabilitation. Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA) and tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Social Work, or Nursing are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct workplace assessments and explore field environments to identify areas for improvement
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective rehabilitation plans
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate rehabilitation
- Maintain current knowledge of best practices in occupational rehabilitation
