About the Role

The Clinical Lead Physiotherapy Specialist will provide strategic leadership to the Physiotherapy team at Gateway Health. This role will be responsible for ensuring effective and high-quality clinical supervision occurs within the discipline, and for developing a professional development plan to meet the needs of the team, the organization, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor activity requirements and provide strategic direction for the Physiotherapy team and Allied Health more broadly to meet activity and budget requirements.
  • Complete performance appraisals for team members and recruit to the Physiotherapy team.
  • Represent and promote the Physiotherapy discipline and Allied Health community within Gateway Health and externally.
Requirements
  • A bachelor or post-graduate degree in Physiotherapy with Current Authority to Practice as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • High level competency of Physiotherapy skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team in an acute healthcare setting.
