We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Albury Wodonga Health. As a key member of our Mental Health Services team, you will play a vital role in leading, developing, and evaluating learning outcomes for mental health nurses and consumers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate learning outcomes for mental health nurses and consumers
- Develop and implement education programs to support the acute inpatient team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery-oriented practice and strengths-based mental health nursing care
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support to mental health nurses
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to mental health nursing education
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Pre-registration specialist qualification in mental health nursing or a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
- Tertiary qualification in Education and/or Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is highly desirable (or willingness to work toward)
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and skill in mental health nursing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work within a team structure in a multidisciplinary environment
