About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team at Albury Wodonga Health. As a key member of our community care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, consumer-focused care to individuals and families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, intervention, and treatment services to individuals and families in a community-based setting
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
  • Provide education and support to individuals and families to promote mental health and wellbeing
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Social Worker – membership, or meets the eligibility requirements for membership, with the Australian Association of Social Work
  • Post graduate qualifications in mental health or to have completed a specialist undergraduate psychiatric program and/or related field or be working towards completion of qualification
  • Sound knowledge of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Act 2022 and Psychiatric Service Frameworks Procedures and Guidelines; and other relevant legislation and its application to clinical practice
  • Commitment to and understanding of contemporary mental health service provision; and demonstrated experience of working in a community mental health service setting
