Responsibilities
- Fund Development: Collaborate with the Head of Legal and Compliance to deliver timely, high-quality legal services aligned to strategic drivers.
- Risk Management: Advise on the legal risks associated with offering documents, ensuring compliance with local and offshore regulations.
- Compliance Support: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure marketing plans and materials meet regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Expertise: Manage regulatory compliance under Australian and offshore obligations.
- Transactional Support: Provide drafting, reviewing, and negotiating services for commercial contracts.
- External Liaison: Respond to regulatory queries and manage external counsel as needed.
- Process Enhancement: Improve legal processes by developing precedent documents, investor communications, and governance frameworks.
About You
- Prior experience in funds, financial services, or investment management, preferably with 3-6 years of PQE.
- Sound knowledge of AFSL obligations, ASIC policy, and Corporations Act requirements.
- Able to balance legal risk and business strategy in a fast-paced environment.
