
Data Center Facility Engineer Apprentice

The Data Center Engineering Operations Trainee role involves assisting on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with established practices and procedures.
This position requires maintaining performance benchmarks and preparing reports on critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance. Additional responsibilities include generating Change Management requests and Incident Management tickets as directed.
Learning and contributing to documentation relevant to business and facility operations is also a key aspect of this role.
Participating in routine maintenance and emergency services for critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment and more is an essential part of this job.
Assisting with the design, implementation, commissioning and build out of new facilities is another important responsibility.
Key Qualifications- Knowledge of data center engineering operations and experience in similar roles is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to maintain performance benchmarks and prepare reports.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills are necessary for working with diverse teams of software, hardware and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts and other vital roles.
