Data Center Engineering Professional

The Electrical Colo Regional Engineer will work collaboratively with data center vendors to review and refine the design for new facilities, incorporating AWS products to meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with vendors to review and input on new data center designs ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Act as a resident engineer during construction projects, supporting commissioning and handover processes.
- Troubleshoot site/equipment failures and create corrective action documentation.
- Provide technical support for data center upgrades to add capacity and improve efficiency.
- Support operating partners to lead, review, and approve designs for upgrades.
- Interface with cross-functional teams to promote standards ensuring reliability in services delivered by operating partners.
- Collaborate on concurrent projects across multiple regions.
- Initiate and lead engineering site audits, producing reports outlining risks and recommended mitigations.
Requirements:
- Detailed understanding of data center design principles and AWS products.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Able to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
