Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring seamless communication with patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations and direct patient inquiries.
  • Provide high-level liaison services to support patients in understanding treatment plans, finance options, and process requirements.
  • Maintain a computerized patient management system by scheduling appointments and generating accurate invoices.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of filing and database systems.
  • Understand billing guidelines, including Medicare rebates and billing codes.
  • Coordinate appointments to optimize specialists' time and promote effective workflow management.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in medical reception or administration is highly regarded.
  • Alternatively, 2 years of experience as a senior receptionist is acceptable.
  • Effective use of practice software packages, including Practice Management Software, Encrypted software communication tools, and Xero or other accounting systems.
  • Relevant business qualifications are desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience and capabilities in operational aspects of sales, marketing, IT, and patient services are highly desirable.
