Job Overview:

The Sales Operations Specialist will provide critical support to the Sales and Event Planning team in managing daily activities, including reporting, administration, and coordination of events.

About the Role:

  • Respond to customer inquiries, direct follow-ups to relevant team members
  • Assist in coordinating entertainment, site management, large-scale event projects, and trade shows
  • Maintain accurate databases, ensuring timely updates of account, contact, and booking profiles according to industry standards
  • Receive and qualify MICE phone inquiries, distribute leads to the sales team, and prepare basic catering proposals as needed
  • Support MICE and Special Corporate contract administration, including preparation, invoicing, deposit processing, GDS load forms, and CI/TY activities
  • Promote data accuracy in systems such as CI/TY, MI Leads, and Opera

About You:

  • Prior experience in a hotel sales department is preferred
  • A relevant diploma or higher, or at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • A results-driven individual with a proven ability to achieve targets
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain high professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Sales and Event Planning team
  • Coordinate logistics for events, meetings, and conferences
  • Manage databases and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders
