Event Attendant Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Event Attendant. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests at various functions and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and Breakdown of Functions: Ensure that all necessary equipment and materials are in place and ready for use before each event. After the event, break down and clean up the area to maintain a high standard of presentation.
  • Preparation and Service of Beverages: Prepare and serve beverages to our guests in a timely and efficient manner. This includes operating the bar, managing stock levels, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
  • Table Service: Provide excellent table service to our guests, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables.
  • Operation of Tills and Cash Handling: Operate the point of sale system accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with confidence.
  • Clearing Tables and Cleaning Duties: Clear tables quickly and efficiently, ensuring that the area is tidy and free from debris. Perform other cleaning duties as required to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

Requirements:

  • Australia RSA certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours including Friday and Saturday evenings
  • Prior experience in the customer service industry
