
Expert Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Service & Support team, you will be responsible for owning, troubleshooting, and solving complex customer technical issues.
This role involves providing expert technical support to customers through various communication channels. You will be required to analyze customer issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail will enable you to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Resolution and Response: Investigate and resolve complex customer technical issues, collaborating with internal teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices.
- Knowledge Sharing: Build communities with peer delivery roles and share knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching, and mentoring of others.
- Technical Expertise: Deepen your technical proficiency through training and readiness to enable resolution of complex customer issues.
- Product/Process Improvement: Engage with Microsoft Engineering/Supportability teams to investigate product defects and develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in PowerShell or Linux Bash (6 months+ experience)
- Virtualization Experience: 2+ years' experience in virtualization concepts, virtual system administration, VM management, vCenter management, Virtual Storage Area Network (vSAN), Hyper-V configuration, and administration
- Azure Networking Components: Familiarity with Azure Networking components (vWAN, Express Route, Global Reach, vNET peering, VPN)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Technical Support Experience: 5+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience in a customer-facing or customer support role
- Development Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with development tools, language, process, methods, troubleshooting, and Open Source platforms and technologies
