We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for delivering high-level technical support to ensure efficient and accurate claims processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert technical support to our claims teams, ensuring timely and accurate claims resolution.
  • Oversee peer reviews for claims and lodgements, providing technical training for new starters and facilitating refresher training for claims and lodgements teams.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Quality Assurance Team Leader to:

  • Provide technical expertise and training to Claims teams, Lodgements, and Leaders.
  • Lead monthly high-level peer reviews for Lodgements and Claims.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective training for new starters.
  • Maintain and enhance technical training content using tools like PowerPoint and ELMO.
  • Review and improve claims training to ensure best practices.
  • Assist Team Leaders in authorising and approving claim payments.
  • Respond to enquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Support project development and implementation as needed.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures to manage risks and ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Experience in Commercial Motor Claims with knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, insurance laws and regulations.
  • Subject Matter Expert in technical end-to-end Motor Claims.
  • Pride in delivering a high standard of customer service and effective working relationships with internal and external customers and service providers.
  • Strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure clear communication, effective collaboration, and high-quality service delivery.
  • A team player, collaborative, shares ideas and encourages others.
