IT Service Management Officer Role

**Job Overview**: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Service Management professional to join our team.

This role involves operational management, specializing in one of the integrated practices such as Release Management, Change Enablement, or Problem Management, while also supporting other practices within the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Identify and categorize practice work items, managing them through their entire lifecycle.
  • Engage with technical owners and stakeholders to facilitate efficient resolution of practice work items.
  • Report on practice operations and performance.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvements to practice capability, maturity, and performance.
  • Support multiple directorates.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

  • At least 5 years' experience in IT Service Management, preferably in an ITIL based practice.
  • Experience working in high performing teams and collaborative environments.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, vendors, technical, and business resources.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to meeting agreed work targets and standards.
  • Experience in related IT practices such as Service Desk, Software Development, or Infrastructure Management.
  • Ability to design technical documentation, processes, and policies.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA Service Desk and/or Confluence.
  • Previous experience working in government or providing services to government agencies.
