Business Development Specialist

The primary function of this role is to coordinate and facilitate engagement activities with external stakeholders, focusing on business development opportunities for undergraduate science Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs.
This position will work closely with the WIL Administrator and Student Experience Officer to manage multiple concurrent WIL programs, prioritizing partnerships with government agencies, industry leaders, and community organizations.
About the Position- Promote the growth of UNSW Science work-integrated-learning and professional development programs by developing and implementing an effective industry engagement strategy.
- Maintain accurate records of engagement activities and connections with potential WIL partners, contacts, and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary contact for external WIL stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication channels.
- Represent UNSW Science at relevant events, meetings, and forums.
- A tertiary qualification in a science-related field, accompanied by relevant experience or equivalent competence acquired through education, training, or experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in relationship management, stakeholder engagement, business development, or similar areas.
- Proven exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders/client groups.
