Job Overview

RPMGlobal is seeking an experienced mining professional to support its expanding global client base. This role will work closely with experts in mine scheduling and design to deliver the world's leading software solution, XECUTE.

The primary objective of this position is to assist clients with the implementation of RPM software, focusing on short-term mine planning solutions. This role works as part of the global consulting group to deliver mine scheduling software implementation projects.

Using a working knowledge of mining engineering, mine design, planning, simulation, and scheduling, this role will implement business software solutions to satisfy RPM clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scope, implement, and configure RPM Software for clients, focusing on short-term mine planning products (XECUTE).
  • Provide training, support, and client liaison for existing clients.
  • Assist with the provision of general software consulting services as required.
  • Identify new clients for both RPM software and consulting services.
  • Maintain a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Assist the business development team in promoting the use of RPM software to potential clients.
  • Provide input into the future direction of RPM software products and consulting services.
About You

As a candidate, you will have:

  • Primary experience in mine planning with 3-5 years of operational short-term planning experience.
  • A working knowledge of mine design, planning, and scheduling techniques.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building and management skills in complex business environments.
  • The ability to travel globally, regularly.
  • Legally entitled to work in Australia.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
  • Extensive knowledge of mine planning/scheduling and design packages available in the market.
  • Site-based experience in the short-term planning space.
  • Experience in software and implementation consulting.
  • Understanding of operational data systems used on-site, including Fleet Management, Drill and Blast, and other data capture systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and contributing to capturing, analyzing, and providing guidance around on-site operational data.
