Mantra Sydney Central is a stylish apartment-style accommodation located in the heart of Sydney's main entertainment district, offering spacious apartments close to the Sydney International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Chinatown and Darling Harbour.

We are seeking a full-time Hospitality Operations Manager to lead the effective management of our housekeeping team and department.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day supervision of the entire housekeeping team
  • Drive productivity, motivation, and development of all Housekeeping Team Members
  • Ensure high cleanliness and productivity standards are met and maintained in accordance with company guidelines
  • Organize and allocate rooms for the rostered team members on shift
  • Evaluate and maintain appropriate chemical safety and Occupational Health & Safety standards and practices
  • Monitor labour costs and productivity output according to occupancy levels while maintaining room cleanliness standards through daily inspections

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Housekeeping leader or manager
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Able to think quickly and make sound decisions to ensure a smooth operation
  • Excellent grooming and presentation skills
  • A collaborative leader who can work effectively with their team to achieve success

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications. This role offers a competitive remuneration package with opportunities for professional growth and development.
