About the team

The Risk and Compliance team is responsible for managing risk, quality management and compliance functions within the firm, providing advice on these areas, and supporting Pitcher Partners Network Firms.

This role assists in the day-to-day management of risk, quality management and compliance across the firm, with a focus on risk management and compliance functions, including monitoring the firm's system of quality management.

About the role

This is a broad role suited to someone with experience in external or internal audit looking to build on their audit background in a non-client facing position.

The role involves assisting in risk reviews, developing and maintaining firm policies, creating and updating Business Risk Registers, supporting the Director of Independence and Quality, and administering regulatory and industry portals.

Required skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Qualifications in Accounting, Law or Commerce
  • Experience in internal or external audit
  • Knowledge of accounting standards (desirable)
  • A strategic thinker with excellent communication and collaboration skills

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
