About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting chance for a Senior Risk Analyst to support a respected industry leader and SME in a broad risk role. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Risk to undertake key responsibilities, including providing independent review and assurance of risk activities, leading the development of risk registers, and analysing data to produce meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent review and assurance of risk activities, including risk and controls assurance;
- Lead the development of risk registers, identifying, analysing and monitoring risks, documenting and assessing controls, and performing control effectiveness testing;
- Analyse data to produce meaningful insights and deliver insightful risk reporting to the Board, Risk Committee and Management;
- Assist in the design and implementation of risk frameworks, policies, procedures and processes;
- Provide risk management expertise and advice to the business to support the implementation of risk frameworks in line with the enterprise risk strategy and risk appetite;
- Work as a major player in the team to migrate from the legacy platform into the new GRC platform Protecht.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated Line 2 risk analyst experience, within financial services- ideally from within a superannuation fund;
- Tertiary qualifications in law, economics, business, commerce or related field preferred;
- Previous experience working with GRC Protecht or other GRC systems such as GRC Archer, Risk Logic etc;
- Sound practical knowledge of superannuation laws and business rules;
- Strong organisational skills and proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, activities and projects simultaneously;
- Strong verbal and report writing skills, ability to communicate with influence;
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, independently navigate and problem-solve in a complex environment.
