Senior Risk and Compliance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Risk Analyst to join a highly regarded industry superannuation organisation. The successful candidate will support the Head of Risk in undertaking key responsibilities, including providing independent review and assurance of risk and controls, leading the development of risk registers and identifying, analysing and monitoring risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent review and assurance of risk and controls;
- Lead the development of risk registers and identify, analyse and monitor risks;
- Analyse data to produce meaningful insights and deliver insightful risk reporting to the Board, Risk Committee and Management;
- Assist in the design and implementation of risk frameworks, policies, procedures and processes;
- Provide risk management expertise and advice to the business to support the implementation of risk frameworks in line with the enterprise risk strategy and risk appetite;
- Work as a major player in the team to migrate from the legacy platform into the new GRC platform Protecht.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated Line 2 risk analyst experience, within financial services- ideally from within a superannuation fund;
- Tertiary qualifications in law, economics, business, commerce or related field preferred;
- Previous experience working with GRC Protecht or other GRC systems such as GRC Archer, Risk Logic etc;
- Possess sound practical knowledge of superannuation laws and business rules;
- Strong organisational skills and proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, activities and projects simultaneously.
