About the Role:

We are seeking an Injury Management Advisor to work with a national organisation based in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining effective injury management processes and developing targeted intervention strategies.

You will work closely with our operations team to establish return to work activities and introduce strategies to minimise injury impact and maximise business objectives.

Liaise with injured team members and provide timely support and injury management advice, and coordinate injury and claims management policies to achieve optimal work outcomes.

The role will involve strategic claims management and proactive early intervention, as well as developing return to work resources and other training for the team.

This is a full-time, permanent position working mainly from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective injury management strategies
  • Work closely with the operations team to establish return to work activities
  • Liaise with injured team members to provide support and advice
  • Coordinate injury and claims management policies
  • Develop return to work resources and training
  • Work towards minimising injury impact and maximising business objectives

About You:

  • AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 2 years' rehabilitation experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of Worker Compensation and Rehabilitation Legislation
  • Previous experience in developing injury management and return to work systems
  • Ability to manage large complex programs
  • Highly analytical and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • Previous retail experience (preferable)
  • Current drivers licence
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia
