Mental Injury Specialist Psychologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Injury Specialist Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at WorkFocus NSW. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, employers, and agents to provide specialist mental injury case management and intervention on primary or secondary psychological claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and strategies to overcome these for psychological conditions, with some physical conditions
  • Design, implement, and review programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce
  • Provide job seeking and advocate for your clients towards successful employment outcomes
  • Provide specialist mental injury case management and intervention on primary or secondary psychological claims
  • Ensure clients, employers and Agents receive specialised, best practice psychological intervention and RTW support for mental injury
Requirements:
  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Appropriate professional registration with APRAH or ASORC
  • Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
  • A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers
  • Willingness to travel (a current vehicle and drivers' license is compulsory)
  • Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
