
Family Violence Response Specialist

This role is part of a multidisciplinary team that provides an intake function to vulnerable families, supporting them through challenging times.
Your New RoleAs a practitioner in this field, you will deliver quality, safe, and effective responses to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence. You will provide intake support via phone, within the site and through outreach visits, aiming to make a positive impact on the lives of those affected.
- Actively manage your caseload by identifying priorities and allocating time effectively.
- Deliver screening and triage, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation, and coordinated referrals, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support integrated risk assessment and planning, providing a holistic approach to client needs.
- Apply for brokerage on behalf of clients when necessary, advocating for their interests.
- Refer clients to relevant services and provide information and support to empower them to make informed decisions about their lives.
