We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Luxury Hotel Attendant to join our team. As a key contact for Club Sofitel guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, ensuring their stay is memorable and exceeding expectations.

Your Key Responsibilities

">
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all hotel facilities and promotions to provide tailored recommendations to guests.
  • Attend to guest requests promptly, demonstrating a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Monitor Responsible Service of Alcohol compliance and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct inventory control and manage food and beverage stock effectively.
  • Complete check-in and check-out procedures, adhering to hotel standards.
  • Update guest profiles, maintain accurate records, and ensure charges are posted correctly.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse guests, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum 12 months of experience in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills, prioritising tasks efficiently.
  • A strong focus on guest and team relations, initiating contact and establishing rapport easily.
  • A professional image at all times, projecting through personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to handle tasks carefully and accurately, with attention to detail.
  • High energy levels, versatility in responding to guest requests, and adaptability in high-pressure situations.
  • Calmness and effectiveness in high-volume work environments.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Previous reception or attendant experience preferred.
  • Valid RSA certification and knowledge of Opera (an advantage).
