
Strategic Workplace Relations Leader

We are seeking a seasoned expert to lead our Workplace Relations team.
This key role is responsible for overseeing operational efficiency, budgeting, service excellence, and performance reporting.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality industrial relations advice and consultancy services to clients or members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing operational efficiency, budgeting, service excellence, and performance reporting
- Delivering workplace relations and consulting services to Members and clients on a fee-for-service basis
- Ensuring ongoing education and up-to-date knowledge of industrial relations legislation and case law changes
- Leading a team and providing guidance and support to staff
We are looking for someone with:
- A tertiary qualification in law or human resources management or equivalent relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment-related legislation, industrial instruments, and Modern Awards
- Significant experience in the delivery of consulting services on a fee-paying basis
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Strong knowledge and experience interpreting industrial instruments (enterprise agreements and awards), and HR policies and procedures, Employment Contracts, Disciplinary and Termination, Unfair Dismissals and General Protection Claims, Long-term illness/absences, Workplace Investigations, Payroll Audits
- Demonstrated experience in representation in the Fair Work Commission and South Australian Employment Tribunal
- Demonstrated ability to provide practical advice and tailored solutions to team members and clients on a range of employment matters
- Experience leading a team
